Our Sunday services, apart from 8.00 am Communion which is a said service, include a variety of music styles.

At 11.00 am we use Songs of Fellowship which contains 1690 worship songs and traditional hymns, so there’s plenty of choice. Worship is led by a small group of singers accompanied by organ, keyboard or guitar depending on the style of the music. We hope to form a joint music worship group with our sister church, St John the Baptist at Smallwood, and we occasionally hold Sing your Socks Off sessions – usually on a Saturday – to encourage the congregation to learn new songs.

Evening services, based on the 1662 Book of Common Prayer, are more traditional and we sing hymns from The Ancient & Modern Revised. The 1st Sunday of every month is Choral Evensong at 6.30 pm, the 2nd is a Sung Eucharist service and the 3rd and the 4th (and the 5th where it occurs) are Choral Evensong, all services being led by our robed choir who sing the responses and chant the psalms along with the Magnificat and the Nunc Dimittis.
