Our Services

Every weekday morning at 9 a.m. we have a service of Morning Prayer

Our Sunday Services:

As a place of Christian worship for over 1000 years, we join with generations of local people who have shared in their worship, and in the highs and lows of their lives. We hope that you will feel welcome and that you are able to meet with God through our services.

 8.00 am

Book of Common Prayer Communion Service. A well loved traditional spoken service {no music} which has remained unchanged for hundreds of years.

In addition, on the first Sunday of each month, there is a BCP Morning Prayer service at 9.00 am

10.00 am

Family Communion. Less formal than the 8 and 6.30. Every 10 a.m. service starts with the children in church for the first part of the service. They then go off to their activities. On the first Sunday of each month the children stay in for the whole service.

6.30 pm

Evensong. A traditional sung evening service with our robed choir leading worship. On the second Sunday of each month is a traditional sung Eucharist.

At the 10 o’clock service there are groups for 0 to 6s and 6s to 10s. There are also “Sunday Sacks” available at the back of church which contain toys, puzzles and games for young children to play with in the pews.

You are warmly invited to stay for free refreshments {with proper ground coffee!} after the 10 o’clock service, which normally involves something home-made, across in the Village Hall.

Toilet facilities may be found outside the main doors of the church, down the steps and round to the left.

Hearing Aids: We have a loop system installed – if you have a hearing aid then please switch to T.
